# Create a product

> Creates a product or service in the organization's catalog.

Any member of the organization can create products. The product is always created `ACTIVE`, whatever `status` you send. `value` is the price in centavos, so `15000` is R\$ 150,00, and must be greater than zero. `type` is `PRODUCT` for a physical good or `SERVICE` for a service. Answers the product that was created, with its new `id`.
